WOODEN DOORS
Unlike uPVC, composite, and aluminium doors, wooden doors are suitable as both interior and exterior doors. Wooden exterior doors offer strength and security whilst wooden interior doors offer a high-end feel, an easily repairable surface, and incredible durability. wood is an excellent natural insulator. The properties of the material mean that warmth is kept in, and noise is kept out more so than with most other types of door. Plus, as long as the wood comes from a sustainable source, it’s environmentally friendly, too. The primary disadvantage of timber doors is their cost. They sit at the luxury end of the market, and as such command a higher price than doors made from cheaper materials.

COMPOSIT DOORS
Composite doors are the superior choice when it comes to taking care of your home and family. With an insulating foam core and strong outer frame, the multi-layered composition of a composite door provides strength and resilience. As well as providing superb energy efficiency, a composite door’s structure makes it the perfect choice for busy areas and main roads. The enhanced security of a composite door is another reason it’s such a popular choice. The effective locks and strong frame keep your home secure and safe.

UPVC DOORS
One of the major positive points of uPVC doors is that they are stronger and
are durable due to the material used as compared to traditional wooden doors.
Thus, they are long-lasting and resilient. UPVC is far cheaper than wooden and
aluminium doors, they never rot, flakes, rusts, fades, pits, peels or corrodes.
It needs only a light soapy wash and a check of the seals for maintenance. The
main disadvantage, they are not weatherproof enough like wooden or aluminium
doors. UPVC doors are unsuitable to be used as the front door at private houses
as due to their lightweight.

ALUMINIUM DOORS
There are many advantages that come with these doors. This makes them a favourite choice for many property owners especially in the industrial and commercial buildings. Modern homes are also using them to add an industrial look to their homes. The durability, strength, and stability of doors made from aluminium are their biggest advantage. Another key advantage of these doors is that they are able to withstand any climatic conditions. No matter where you live, be it in a coastal region or deep in a desert, these doors have proven to be strong and weatherproof. They can withstand extreme temperature and constant changes in temperature without any signs of tear and wear.
